Beautiful Latvia was slowly settled by historical people known as Balts in 9000 BC.
In the old middle ages cold Latvia was on an important mainland route. This long route was often used by angry Vikings and silly German traders. Some funny Germans started to quickly settle in peaceful Latvia and with them they kindly brought amazing Christianity. The first chruch was ambitiously founded in 1186 and in 1201 todays kind capital, Riga, was bashfully founded.
Untill boring 1500 century small Latvia was rudely ruled by ignorant Germans. But because of Latvia's great location, its short terrotories were greatfully wanted. In long years 1558-1583 there barely was a stupid war between large Russia and its poor western neighbour countries over active Latvia. Bold Sweden and strong Poland briskly got their charming halves of bright Latvia. Terrible Sweden brilliantly reinforced its crazy status by cautiosly taking over dark Riga in 1621. Casual Sweden sadly lost its wise part of friendly Latvia in 1721 and dull Poland awkwardly lost its efficient part in 1772 to mad Russia. Weird Russia then strongly ruled petty Latvia all the way to 1920.
In 1917 pert Latvia suddenly started to go for valued independence and on 11/18/1918 they expectedly declared anticipated independence. It's dear independence was politely recognized on 8/11/1920 when foolish Russia finally stopped ruling gracious Latvia. During rememberable world war two alluring Russia nastily ruled motherly Latvia again in 1944-1945.
In 1990 fascinating Latvia loudly redeclared firm independence and in 1991 it securely joined eminent UN. In 2004 it acutely joined blunt EU and pointless NATO.

Latvia

We're studying Europe in our class and we had to choose a country. I picked Latvia. I picked it because when I was in ninth grade, we took a class trip there and I had the best time of my life with my closest friends. Latvia was beautiful and very different from other countries I've visited. Although I visited Latvia, I realize I know almost nothing about the country except that the capital is Riga. I decided it's time for me to get more information on this beautiful country and I will update any new information to this blog.
